Gokrtmozrt Earns His First ARCA Win!
The Speedy League took their traveling show to the Milwaukee Mile this week and put on an exciting race. Kevin (Gokrtmozrt) earned his first ARCA win by putting on a strong performance throughout the race. Although Kevin is a multi-past champion in Speedy League and is only 5 races shy of racking up the most wins in Speedy history, this is his rooky season in the ACRA car. As predicted, it surely did not take Kevin long to adapt. Andrew Burgess raced very strong, leading the most laps and taking 2nd place. Tim StJean (Soulrender) led 11 laps and brought his car home in 3rd place, where he started the race.
There were 6 cautions for 23 laps in this event but 2 of them were very late in the race causing the 2nd and final Green/White Checkered. There were some longer runs through most of the race so track position and good pit stops during the other 4 cautions became paramount. Zipperer fought hard to hold on to a 4th place finish while Ernie D rounded out the rest of the top 5.
This race had 6 lead changes between 6 drivers and the racing was clean but competitive. Aaron Watkins impressed many drivers by racing hard to hold his position many times during the race and did a clean job of taking 6th place money. Michael F, Mike Burgess, Allen Beaulieu, and Brent McDonald rounded out the top 10 respectively. Preston Monahan (EF), John (Redeye) and Rob13 were handed some bad luck by getting caught up in some of the earlier cautions and finished in the remaining positions.
This race was very well enjoyed by most of the drivers due to the close racing and the courtesy given by all. The completion of this event leaves only 2 races left in the season and with a very close points battle between Brent McDonald and Tim StJean (Soulrender)! The Speedy drivers will head down to Fort Worth, Texas to compete in the 2nd to last race of the season. See you all there!

Tim wins his second race in a row at Michigan
It was a great day at Michigan Int'l Speedway Wednesday when the drivers took the green flag. Michael F won the pole and a lead a few laps from the green. Even though there were 14 lead changes amoung 6 drivers Soulrender ended up leading the most laps with 34 of the 60 lap race.
Michigan is a wide open track which gives alot of room for passing. Even though there were alot of cautions the drivers showed alot of respect for one another out there. These cautions were brought out by selfspins as the cars were really loose this week. Great job by all drivers.
Soulrender dominated the race to take the checkers by 0.046 seconds over Michael F. Michael F made Soulrender earn the win as Michael made a hard charge the last few laps and almost stole the win away from Soulrender.
Soulrender won the race with Michael F in second and Gokrtmozrt came home in third. Brent and Mike B rounded out the top 5. Allen finished in 6th with Aaron in 7th, Redeye in 8th and Zipperer in 9th.
We will see the Speedy drivers at Milwaukee next week for some short track fun.

Andrew Takes The Trophy Home 2 Weeks In A Row
Andrew Burgess just can’t seem to find his way out of Victory Lane as he takes his 2nd win in a row in Speedy League… 3rd win in a row including the WKR Series. It was a close battle as the race seemed to be up for grabs due to a caution near the end. This allowed Tim StJean (Soulrender) and Ernie DiAlfonso to give it their best shot but fell short with a 2nd AND 3RD place finish in respective order.
There were 4 cautions for 21 out of 125 laps at the USA International Speedway event. Drivers were really racing hard on this adored short track as 7 drivers exchanged the lead 14 times. Among the heart of the battle was Kevin (gokrtmozrt) and Michael F who raced throughout the pack all day and was able to lead laps on their way to a 4th and 5th place finish respectively. It should be noted that although Eric (BNE) finished in 6th place, it did not reflect how strong he was all race. Eric led the most laps and seemed like the guy to beat as he was just toying with veteran drivers at times but some tight, hard racing lead to a late spin and no time left to recover. Also putting in a hard day at the office was Mike Burgess, Brent McDoanld, Allan Beaulieu and Preston Monahan (EF) as they rounded out the top 10 respectively.
After all the beating and banging was said and done at USA International Speedway, only 2 drivers were unable to complete the event. But even with the casualties low, this did not keep the typical tempers from flaring in short track fashion as there were some extra bumps, hand gestures and other expressions after the race. Even though the fans love the drama, everyone will probably get it all worked out in time for next week knowing this is just par for the “short” course!
Additional after-race publicity took place as the rising star Allan Beaulieu has caught the attention of many by constantly increasing his race performance every week, bringing an even better package to each event. This team has really stepped it up a notch every race since joining this series and has drivers wondering what competition lies ahead.
The completion of this race leaves only 6 events remaining in the current season. Drivers will enjoy a couple of days off before booking travel to Kansas Speedway for the next event!
